What's the story behind Courtesy?

When the founder was 13 years old, he accidentally discovered the secret to computer repair success: It wasn't the right marketing angle or sales pitch; it was his reputation for delivering good work at a fair price, and never saying no to a hard problem.

David's customers did the sales for him via word-of-mouth. Even small businesses started to hire him while he was a teenager. This accidental success in business went on for over a decade.

David loved helping people and being generously rewarded for it, but eventually went on to work in web development for a decade, because he found that he enjoyed building things as much as he liked fixing them.
After starting an IT business again, the founder decided to rent an office in a business incubator for entrepreneurs, and noticed how often these small businesses help each other, instead of compete. This was a huge influence on his business style and approach.

David experienced the joy of small business again, but saw that many small businesses, especially in the startup stage, cannot afford good technology or service. So in the spirit of the business incubator, he decided he would try to tackle the small business IT affordability problem himself, changing from his craftsman approach to one that's more efficient and affordable.

Working with small businesses has always brought our team joy; and we are grateful that we, as a business, receive both happiness and money for our work. What more could we ask for?
